Your comfort is extremely important during meditation and the way you position yourself can have a profound effect on your meditation practice.  If your back, hips and knees hurt, if your feet go numb, it's difficult to fully relax into a meditative state.  Our buckwheat-hull and kapok-filled zafu and zabuton meditation cushions are ergonomically designed to provide support and encourage proper alignment during sitting meditation. Or you may prefer our bamboo meditation bench.  For savasana or massage, a cotton mat may suit your needs.  Try one of our meditation cds to aid in attaining the deepest levels of relaxation.  We provide the tools to help you achieve the full benefits or your meditation practice.

Meditation Tip:   Avoid eating foods rich in carbohydrates before meditating because they can make you sleepy. Of course, a growling stomach can be distracting during meditation, so you may want to eat a little something before beginning a session. Choose foods that are protein rich, like cheese, nuts or fish.
