Strength training builds muscle, tones your body, and improves your over-all fitness.  Increased muscle mass resulting from strength training boosts your metabolism, allowing your body to work more efficiently (which burns more calories) and increases your bone density (which reduces the risk of osteoporosis).

Strength training can easily be done at home with the help of inexpensive equipment.  Dumbbells are classic strength-training tools that can be used on their own or incorporated into your Pilates and aerobic exercise routines.  Our neoprene-covered hand weights provide a comfortable, non-slip grip. Toning tubes are used for strength training by offering resistance when pulled.  They are lightweight and portable and great for keeping you in shape while traveling.  Performing push ups strengthens and tones your upper body, but can be hard on your wrists.  The adjustable push-up bar reduces stress on your wrists and forearms and helps you perform the exercise properly.  The upper-body Tone-Up Bar is a multi-functional piece of equipment for upper-body strengthening and core toning. An ab sling can be used with the pull-up bar and allows you to work your abs  without fatiguing your forearm, shoulder and back muscles.
